New guy from Oregon

I learned to drive in a 1972 k20 Cheyenne and drove that all through high school. I am fairly partial to those 67-72 Chevy trucks. then my dad sold it while i was at school.

My grandpa just gave me his 1972 Chevy. The problem is I am from Oregon and living in Idaho for school and the truck is in Arizona. We spent a week on it and it seems as if it ready to take back home except we are having problems with the wiring with the starter and switch. Not too sure about what is going on with it.

It is a old seed company truck. it came with a step side that was converted over to service body. Then later was put with a fleet side. The 400 was changed to a 350. A few years ago someone ran a fork lift into the side of the bed also. Its not in great shape, but heck it is mine.

My plan is to get it going and to get it home and do some work on it. My longer term plans for it is to make it a 4x4. I am thinking like a frame swap or something. I want to get it back to good showing condition.
