How to drain the fuel tank

Sorry, this thread has probably been on here a hundred times, I can't seem to find any old posts, Just brought home a 72 Jimmy, been sitting 4-5 years, it will start, but needs carb (roch. 2jet) and old fuel dumped. what is the easiest way to empty fuel tank, I cant seem to get any hose snaked thru the bends to siphon, Help ?????? Thanks
