Noisy sm465?

I just obtained an 87 4bt swapped k10 that has a sm465 trans and a divorced Rockwell t221 and I am have what sound like a chatter sound in 3rd and more prominently in 4th the sound will go away when you press on the clutch. Anybody have any ideas the fluid levels are topped off. Could it be a bearing or maybe it's a u joint but I couldn't find a u joint that was loose.
