76 rust-toration

Hey everyone, This is my 76 gmc 1500. When i bought the truck it was flat black, with roll on bed liner on the bottom 8" to 10". It had a lime green hood and a push bar on the front.

I originally wanted a patina truck when i was looking but i found this one and she spoke to me. So did momma when i got home only b/c we have a 2 year old and i didnt tell her before i bought it.

Ive been working on sanding the flat black and bed liner off. Its been a while but here she goes. Its still not done. Im gonna let it sit in my field this winter and let her rust up then wet sand and clear it next spring. I like the original look of patina trucks. I want to paint it some day but its just not in the budget any time soon.
