Hey guys,

this might be a dumb question but i have an immense amount of grease and oil buildup on my engine. ive scoured the internet high and low and cant find where my oil filter canister is located in this engine. im trying to give her an oil change and have the new canister. i thought it would be on the drivers side just next to the distributor but im not seeing it. any help or pics would be greatly appreciated!

Also, my truck has an alternator from an 80's chevy. im looking to go back to an original generator for it instead. any pros/cons to doing this?
