49 Inner Fender Attachment?

I'm working on the drivers inner fender of my 49, 3100 (s10 swap).
I think I may be missing a bracket, or maybe I'm just out of alignment. When I purchased my truck it had already been partially disassembled, and when I worked on the firewall, I filled a lot of holes.
Now I can't tell if I need to pull the edge of the inner fender back to the fire wall, drill holes, and bolt it up. Or if I need to fabricate a bracket (or find a donor). It isn't something that LMC lists as a part.
If any of you have pictures of your inner fender on this side, that would be mucho helpful.
I know someone on the site posted a similar question, but about a 54 I believe. I'm not sure if they're the same.
Pictures below show what I'm dealing with. I've got about a 3/4" gap between the inner fender and the fire wall.
