Ahhhh the saga of my 388 build continues
So the machine shop killed my original block. Well actually the metalergy was so bad when they bored it the block just kinda fell apart. So a fair warning to everyone, WATCH OUT FOR MEXICO BLOCKS!!! That said the machine shop said it was the second time they had ever seen that happen. You should have seen the cylinder walls......
Anyways I scored last night. A complete high tin/high nickle shortblock, stock bore, 4 bolt mains for $125!!! YES!!!! Too bad it has to go .060" to fit all my stuff ![]() ![]() ![]()
