Restore or not? 71 K5 Blazer Light Yellow w/ A/C and roll bar

I recently bought a 1525AA light yellow Blazer from the original owners here in Colorado. They gave me a folder an inch thick of records including the original purchase order, title with 06/01/71 purchase date, the Protect-O-Plate, owners manual, and receipts for a transmission rebuild, a refurb carburetor and GM crate motor installed 60k miles ago.

My questions are; If I'm going to do the rust repair and repaint would I be doing the K5 a disservice painting it a different color?

The K5 has already been repainted once and had the rockers replaced. Now it needs both outer rockers, lower doors and 1/4 repair in front of rear wheels. If I do the repairs I know a great painter that could color match, spray only the repaired areas and blend in with the old paint to preserve the "patina" on the remaining body panels or do I just repaint it the original light yellow? Thanks for your input
