lowering spring which end up?

I'm installing lowering springs on my 1958 Apache with a Camaro front clip.

I bought some Eibach coil springs to lower trucks front end. advertised 1-1.5" drop.
Stock Camaro springs have both ends flat.
The new springs have a flat end and other end is not, looks like a cut coil end.

Which end goes up in the frame ?and what end goes in the lower control arm?

Or does it matter?

P.S. I did a search but all I found was ?s on what springs to buy and how much drop do you get.
