89 chevy 350 5 speed manual with a buick 1st gen turbo?!

so me and my buddy picked up an 89 c1500 short bed single cab with a 350 and a 5 speed for $350 this weekend. we have a turbo set up that we were told was off of a 1st gen buick grand national he bought for $40, and I threw in a 650 edelbrock carb for ****s and giggles that I bought for $70. we both think the price is worth it after finding a place for cheap pipe, we're just not sure exactly what we need to do to retro fit it on and its all for fun. trucks beat to crap lots of "speed holes" from weathering....and from a day of shooting at the tailgate (after taking it off of course) shoots flames out the ass from a valve we think and over heats like hell. just wondering if anybody could tell us a little more on what exactly we need to do to get this to even run once and build boost.
