Roof Replacement Suggestions

Alright I have a 1972 C10 that I've been slowly fixing up and I have a question. A previous owner of my truck thought it would be a good idea to install a sunroof in the cab, so I have a large rectangle hole in the center of the cab. I bought a top of a cab, cut A and B pillars, to use to fix this one. The question I have is what would be the suggested way to replace the top of the cab.

The two main ways I've seen it done are:
1. Replace the skins using glue and welding
2. Chop A and B pillars weld back together.

I realize this isn't going to be really easy. What do you think?
