Converting 4x4 frame to a 2 wheel drive - 1979 Blazer

Day O: this is my first attempt at posting to a forum, but here it goes.

17AUG, my wife and I drove up northeast of Atlanta to pick up this 1979 Blazer for $3000. Selling points were it came with a title, pretty good tires and a solid top... the rest I was willing to take a chance on.

After the exchange in a Wal Mart parking lot, we immediately went to a tire shop and got the tires balanced - feedback from the guy at the shop, the tires are fine but the rims weren't perfect and required some weights on the outside of the rim to bring it back to normal.

After grabbing a Johny Cash CD from Wal Mart for $5, we got on the road... made it thru Atlanta traffic without any issue.

---

After spending the weekend at Cruising the Coast in Biloxi, Mississippi... Decided i wanted to make it a 2 wheel drive!
