Electric fuel pump?

Anyone use a halfway decent electric fuel pump in their their truck? Longevity is not really my concern. I'll change it every year if I have to. Just want to aid in starting.

My biggest problem is I never run my truck so the carb is always bone dry when I do use it. I drove my truck about 200-300 miles last year and frequent use for me would be twice a month. It's really annoying to go out and have to crank it forever to get fuel. Once fuel is in the carb, it runs like a champ but getting there after a week or two of sitting makes me want to drive it even less.
