My 67 c10 is 6 lug from the factory. When I bought the truck, it came with 24 inch wheels and low profile tires which do not appeal to me. I would like something that looks original. My initial idea was to sell what is on it now and go "original". Problem is, I'm having problems finding "cheap" rims with 6 lug that look at least in the neighborhood of original.

I've found some cheap rims on CL that are from 80's tahoes, etc, but I'm thinking they would probably look silly on a 67 that is original in every other way. I really don't want to spend the money for the real thing, don't have the skill to convert it, and I'm afraid spacers will be dangerous and or make the wheels stick out too far.

Opinions?
