First Suburban - 1969 C-10

Thought I'd get involved in this site as I see a lot of great trucks and advice. Hope I can contribute. Bought my first c10, a 1969 Suburban. Old US Army salvage, decent amount of rust, original inline six, runs beautifully. One image is my photoshop plan to use it as my shop truck but body guy says that's no good as the rust needs to be addressed since I'm in Florida, so looking for ideas on a good color. I can't do original army green, other suburban shop trucks online are that same color.
