85 gmc transmission mount issue

Hey guys. I`m in the middle of installing my rebuilt 700r4 and I`ve run into a snag. with the transmission mount installed and the stud going through the crossmember the driver side crossmember holes do not line up. The crossmemeber needs to come forward almost 2 " on the driver side to line up with the holes it came from. Just a FYI when I removed the transmission the old mount was there but not bolted to the transmission. I know the frontend of the truck had some damage at some point so I`m wondering if the frame is tweaked. Does anyone have a picture of the trans mount installed? Im positive I have it one the correct way, it would hit the case if I flipped it around. I`m just trying to button this thing up so I can start driving it again, been almost a month.
