Front suspension question

So I have two questions. I want to put new springs in the front because mine are so old that the front left is low, resulting in right rear being high lol. If I'm going to do new springs I want to take the opportunity to lower it a bit, but I don't want to mess with all the other components. So would 1 or 2 inch drop springs be okay without having to change other parts?

My other question is what can I do to the front end to get rid of the big tugboat in choppy waters kind of feel? The truck leans so bad in turns and its just sketchy. Truck will never be a road racer, I like the drag strip myself, but id like to tighten things up a bit.

I have the money for new springs, and I want to put on some really nice shocks as well, but I can't spend a fortune because there are other parts of the truck getting most of the budget (motor and rear-end)
