I built it out of 3/4 mdf and recessed in the spot for the amp. It fits just right behind the seat. I have a bar that runs on the bottom of my bucket seats that gave me some clearance issues. I really don't want to be sitting in the steering wheel. I put 2 shallow mount rockford fosgate 10 inch subs in it. I also put some kick panel speaker holders in and built a holder for some 3.5 inch speakers in the dash.
