Passive Keyless Entry (PKE) and push button start

Gentlemen,

A few years ago I purchased a new daily driver and although I thought it was stupid at the time, I've really come to appreciate the PKE system. Lock the doors, unlock the doors, and start the ignition - all without ever taking the fob out of your pocket. Kits are pretty reasonable ($145 on Amazon) and since I'm in the middle of wiring the truck anyway, it seems like a good time.

I read a few threads where people installed push button start systems, but couldn't find any where a full PKE was installed. Any success stories? I'm curious how you are unlocking the doors from the outside (my car has a button on the handle).
