Another Temp/Fuel Gauge Problem, Sorry :(

My recently acquired 1970 C10 had a new gauge cluster fitted it also had a new under bed fuel tank fitted when it landed over here in the UK but the fuel gauge has always read 3/4 full and the temp gauge only moves up to the first cold line.

I fitted a new temp sender and nothing changed but I did notice that the PO has fitted an earth wire to the top terminal of the gauge to the cab and if I disconnect it the needle pings to hot.

As for the fuel gauge I removed the wire connected to the "fuel Ga" pin in the fuse box and the needle moved round to the 3 0clock position passed the full position.

I'm thinking that the gauge cluster may not be earthed so can some one put a picture up showing where the earth wire should be attached to the cluster please.
