Help with trailer electrical pls

Hey all, I just got a 99 Silverado 5.3 2wheel drive truck. It came with a tow package, but the 7 blade plug is a little beat up and when I hook up the trailer with an adapter from my 7 blade to a 4 pin, I only have brake lights and turn signals, no running lights. I'm hoping it's because the plug is beat up.

So, I bought a Hopkins Multi-Tow 7 blade and 4 flat combo, and I got the one that you splice into the wiring harness because the factory plug looked beat up so I wanted all new. Now, the wire colors on the new Hopkins harness do not match my wiring harness, and there are no instructions on vehicle specific installation. Anybody know which wire goes to which?
