yoke question

haven't been on in a while, but been slowly tinkering with a 78 c10, got the new motor in and started last night, went to hook up the driveshaft and its too short, it had a turbo 350 in it before and id assume a long shaft as its a truck, i got my buddies 305 with turbo 350 out of his camaro, and i believe its a short shaft seeing as its about 2 or 3 inches shorter, i was looking at longer yokes yesterday and has anyone here encountered this before? just looking at what yoke to get to resolve this issue....or if you guys know what driveshaft i should get instead...trying to go the cheapest route possible
