Re: keep the inline 250 or move on to a 307 sbc

x20 on sticking with the 250, especially over a 307. People walk by a sea of SBC and LS trucks at shows to see and talk about my grimy old 250. Great smooth running & reliable engine.

Grumpy nailed it regarding increased I6 popularity. Used to be nobody wanted them. Complete 250 master rebuild kits including rings, pistons, cam, lifters, etc, sold for $189 ten years ago because companies were trying to unload old stock. Now the same exact kits with same name brand parts sell for near $400, if you're lucky.
