C20 8 lug disc brake conversion
I have a 69' Suburban C20 8 lug with 17" wheels and OEM drum brakes all around. The 69' has new springs that I think I can reuse. I also have what I was told is the front "A" arms, spindles, disc brakes etc for a 1971 3/4 ton. I am posting picks of what I have. I'd like feedback on where to go next and what ALL else I need to do to COMPLETE the conversion all at once (no trips to the parts store). My plan is to disassemble all this stuff and sandblast and Por15, clean and repair everything to be ready to reinstall including replaceing the rotors and calipers. I want to replace all the ball joints, tie rod ends, bearings, seals, hoses, bushings and bump stops before the install. I have read the FAQ on brakes conversions and while it was very helpful, I did not understand a few things like hoses, hose adapters, proportioning valves etc. ANY feedback would be helpful and much appreciated.
