Ran into this 1954....Should I ?

HI all,

I am relatively new to the forum, I have a 1961 build going on over in the 60-67 thread. I have fell in love with these trucks, I cannot pick which year
I like the most, anyway to the point!
I have ran across a 1954 with the original 6 cyl and granny 4-speed, starter still in the floor, original paint, black truck, I have seen pictures of the truck, it is complete and can be driven, I will see it in person today. The only rust the owner has mentioned if one one side at the cab step, the interior is in poor condition, floor pans are great, the truck looks to be very solid with very minimum body/rust issues.
What would something like this be worth? I have no knowledge of these trucks, so what am I looking at to lower it, and make it a nice driving riding truck?

Thanks so much!
