Borgeson Delphi 600 Power Steering with manual transmission? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hoping someone has run into this issue and could help me out.
Working on a 1956 Chevy. Purchased a Borgeson Delphi 600 Power Steering box that was advertised as a conversion kit for the '56 (with modification to the steering column). The problem I'm running into is that the shaft from the clutch linkage is hitting the power steering rod.

I called Borgeson and they weren't sure if the power steering box or rag joint should be different for a manual clutch set up.

Anyone?
