What to do with my naked floor

After getting blurry-eyed from reading past posts about floor insulation, it's time to do something with the bare floor in my truck. Having put in new window seals, the wind noise has diminished significantly, so, turning my attention to the floor is next. I don't have a radio and don't intend on adding one. Therefore the cab doesn't have to be like a sound studio. Those of you that have used the peel-and-seal stuff from the Big Box stores, are you happy with your results? I'm going with an ACC carpet with the mass underlayment and am curious about what to use on the naked floor. Being retired and on a very tight budget, money is definitely a major concern

What I'm looking for is info from those who are actually driving their trucks, not so much from those still in the build process. Thanks
