Paint Code 548 vs. 518

I bought a couple cans of "touch up" rattle cans of base coat paint for my 1972 GMC C1500 from www.automotivetouchup.com. I got in on a bulk order with a buddy of mine.

My paint code on my SPID lists my paint as "548 WHITE/MEDIUM GREEN".

My buddy told me that when he ordered the paint that the only color listed as "MEDIUM GREEN" under the 1972 GMC colors was code 518.

I want to just do some painting to the firewall and inside the front fenders under the hood. These cans of paint are 20 bucks a piece so I am hoping that we ordered the right paint color.

So my query is... does the 548 paint code include the white top along with the medium green 518? If so the 518 code should be the correct code for me to use to reproduce the factory color?

I know I shoulda checked before buying. But.. here I am. LOL

Thanks!

Gary
