So when in 1972 did GM start installing single wall tops?
My May 1972 Flint built Blazer has a single wall top (and speaker installed in the dash like a pickup). I suspect 1x wall tops were available in 72 only and were installed in the latter part of the MY but maybe that's not correct.
I'm curious for those who have K5s originally equipped with 1x wall tops, what month your K5 was built, Flint or St Louis built, and does your K5 have the speaker in the dash like a pickup? We could also uncover who has the last K5 assembled for the 72 MY
