putting 4 speed into low hump auto cab?

rock and a hard spot..... swapping out a rust bucket cab for a slightly less rusted out one
I'm putting a 70 c1500 auto cab into a k10 with the granny low 4 on the floor high hump rig, I know a lot of you boys have been there done that, can any one point me to a good thread or give me some tips that will make this a smooth job
