Bedfloor and mud - what to do?

I think this will be a interest ing topic! - I my trying to build a nice weekend cruzer with new and fresh paint.. now I'm cut my long bed to be a short bed but I have some waves in it between the braces... Now should I cut my bed up more and replace new patch s( more in one spot).. Should I bang them back out and leave it be or should I bang them out and level it with bondo..I'm not going to put a 1/2 ton of bricks back there but am worried about cracking. . I am also planning in putting in bedliner spray.- your thoughts! . If a had tge money I would have just bought the new bed an called it good but money is tite..
