Hinge help !

Need help on hinge rebuild (72 suburban doors)There is a lot of info on hinges , specifically seized pins.I managed to remove my pins (heat helped) but neglected to do anything about the wear in the friction mechanism pin. This play gives an undesired effect when opening the doors. My plan was to remove the small pin and enlarge the hole in the hinge/friction bar to eliminate the slack. Problem is ,I can not drive out the old pin. What is it? A roll pin? Has anyone ever removed or drilled out this pin? I dont want to make a mess of the hinge! Thanks for your help !
