Molding Options? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm new to this forum but it seems to have a lot of knowledgeable people on it, so I decided to ask a few questions. I just recently purchased a '72 GMC 1500 and it has no molding. Was it an option on these trucks to have no molding or did someone before me remove it? I'm also wondering how tough/acceptable it would be for me to add molding to it. I've looked around but I can't seem to find anything with answers to these questions which is why I came here.
