Off Topic Question. PT cruiser

I'm sure there is a site out there for this question But I don't belong to any of them. So I hope no one is offended that I ask here.

Wife's car.. 2002 PT cruiser. Has some noise when brakeing. I checked the fronts and there ok. I went to check the back set,= drums. I could not for the life of me get them off. My question. Does anyone know if there is a trick to this type?or an I missing something simple? I have taken off my 74 rear drums many times so I'm not totaly stupid.

Any help would be nice!
