how do i fix it or at least slow the cancer down??

Guys, i don't have money to go and buy a new cab so, then, how do i fix this cancerous spot?

It is on the driver side where the post comes up and is at the seam where it meets the roof. After each rain i've got a good .25 inch of rain water on my dash and the winshield has the streaks dwon the edge. Take a look at the pics and you tell me!
This is my 68 C10 (if you got a cheap cab then let me know i might be able to use it)
I've got a 67 parts truck and i thought about cutting out that part of the cab and having someone weld it back in but ????? arise and i'm not sure.

You tell me!
Thanks, Sswj
