WTB - Northern Nevada Mechanic
Probably not buy, but I'll pay an excellent "wage" for a conscientious competent mechanic. Payment per job. Interest in these trucks a bonus. I'm a helping hand.
I'm tearing this down to nuts and bolts. First time project and learning as I go. There are some areas I'd like some help with (below). Garage is wide open, 70% of the truck will be removed beforehand. No rust, clean, I have a lot of tools and my schedule is pretty open. Let me know if it's not kosher to post this here. Thank you. 1. Remove rear leaf springs and drive shaft. 2. Remove steering column and steering box. 3. Remove front suspension. 4. Install new flex plate and rear main gasket. (Easy access, just a transmission and frame.) 5. Install rear main gasket. 6. Install rear leaf springs (4" drop springs), shocks, drive shaft. 7. Install front suspension. Probably 2.5" drop spindles. 8. Install steering column and box. Edit: Windows with SS trim would be bonus.
