Setting up suspension

Hey guys I've never posted in the racing section before, but my truck has made a drastic turn towards 1/4 mile racing so J figured I'd ask you guys about my suspension. I recently did heads/cam/intake on my 355 and even more recently installed a Holeshot 3000 converter and a mini spool. I'd really like to get to the track a few times this year, and my first goal is to break into the 12's. I have a stock short block in my 70 C10 LWB with RHS 170cc heads, a comp 280H and edelbrock rpm manifold. Currently using an edelbrock 650 AVS carb but that will go soon and I'll be looking for a carb more geared towards 1/4 mile racing. 750 cfm is probably the most I can use with my current setup so far.

For my suspension. It's all stock, drum brakes all around, and it's old and worn. Ever since I put the mini spool in I have some wheel hop when I launch. I'd like to lower it a bit, maybe 5" in the back and 2" in the front. I've also read about shock relocation making them sit straight up and down as opposed to angled so far. Any suggestions for springs and shocks? As well as other things I may need like relocation kits, which are better suited for drag racing. Any help is great thanks guys

Matt
