Brake pedal stop

Hey guys I converted from a power brake set up to a manual with a willwood master cylinder mounted directly to the firewall. Right now the only thing acting as a stop for the brake pedal is the brake switch. If the threads were to strip out on the plastic of that I see the potential for the pushrod to fall out of the master cylinder and end up with no brakes. Has anyone ran into this? I'm thinking I can drill a hole on the tab next to the brake switch and use a bolt and nut for a secondary stop.
