That looks like a nice truck to be starting with, take it slow and steady. Keep it 4wd. Get it on the road and enjoy it, then if you want to do a full restoration/modification/customization do it later. After you have drove it for a few years you will have a better idea just what you want and need and what you don't. To get mine on the road the first time took 4 months (I wish I started with something as nice as yours looks) I then I drove it for 5 years, and am just now finishing a 2 1/2 year build.
