Re: Is There A Market For Vintage Shells?

My '85 C3500 has one of the high-roof, fiberglass shells on it when I got it - I promptly removed it and sold it ($100 locally, I think) but I'd like to have a straight-roof camper shell for it now and have been skimming CL occasionally for one. My opinion is that models such as the OP's should be held onto or sold rather than thrown away - it seems demand for them is coming back and is probably still on the upswing. I'm also in the mood to put a slide-in bedliner on my truck to keep wear off the nearly pristine bed that I've put a few nice dents in lately. Dad always had one in his K20, but it appears they've quit making them for the squarebodies.
