Anyone have any person experience with the repro center console?

When I do the bucket seat conversion to the truck, I'd like to add a stock style center console. I've been looking at the Procar seats but the seat mount bracket mounts like a bench seat, running in one piece from door to door. Not sure how you'd get a console in there since the stock style ones mount to the floor, but I'd probably figure something out.

I realize the reproduction consoles don't exactly look like a period correct console (cup holders instead of seat belt buckle slots, etc.) but they are certainly easier to find than a good original and much more affordable. Anyway, I wonder if anyone here has one and what they think about the looks, construction and usefulness of them. The listing at LMC says they are polyethylene and shouldn't be painted and they only come in black. I'm planning on a saddle interior so that in itself might be a show stopper. I have to wonder if the vinyl dye sprays might work on polyethylene?

If anyone has any photos of one installed, especially if installed with Procar seats, please post them up.
