Stepside Narrow Rearend Backspacing

Just received this kit from CPP( https://www.summitracing.com/parts/CLP-6370SWBK-6D ) and now looking to get some new wheels. I really like the look of 17's and looking to purchase 17x8 Vision 141 Legend 6x5.5 with 4.5bs. I can get this setup shipped to Alaska, were I live, for free which is very nice.

I'm worried though, with 17x8 on all four corners that it won't look that good and may be to wide for the front? Also, I'm worried the rear fitment may cause rubbing on my inner bed. I plan to have these machined to fit my hub properly by the way. Any advice you guys can give would be very very appreciated along with the proper size tire I should run.

My truck is a 1968 C10 with the original 1968 rear end(narrow). I don't plan on changing to the wider rear end. Also, I would like to avoid running spacers if possible. Thanks!
