fan shroud woes

Hey all

Brand new member here - I bought a 1972 Jimmy and needing some advice. A previous owner installed a later model 350 v8 out of a late 90's Suburban (from what I'm told) changed the fuel injection to carb. There is also a dual electric fan setup. Somewhere along the line the shroud was removed from the electric fan and not ever replaced. I'm wanting to put a shroud back on so, my question is: What's the best way to tell if the electric fan setup is an aftermarket brand ( no markings or labels/tags anywhere) or perhaps a radiator swap from the Suburban (along with the electric fan setup)? Did Chevy use electric fans on late 90's suburbans? The fan blades are metal. What are some ideas about going about finding a replacement?

thanks in advance for any ideas. i'm not opposed to starting from scratch and buying another electric fan setup, but then again would rather not spend the money if there is a simpler, easier solution. If buying a new fan setup - I;m still needing to know if it's a Stock or Suburban radiator...
