1953 lm7 5.3 suspension questions

Hi we just got a 1953 5 window back into the family after about 10 years. Found the same truck but now engine and transmission are shot. So instead of rebuilding we have a lm7 and a 4l60e we're going to toss in. I have seen a lot oh threads about v8 swaps but not so much lsx motor swaps that are completely done. I need some pics of what you did to clear the steering? Also we're on the fence about ifs or upgraded I beam with disk brakes. Thanks
