I run about 45amps. 1/16'' tungsten. 2% as well. 0.045 filler rod. I tack every body line, high crown area, and about 1-2'' in between.

I weld one section at a time and stop as soon as the gap starts to close up and overlap. I then stop, planish, and let it cool.

Just to give you an idea:

This hasnt even been body worked. Just a quick hit with a die grinder and da sander:


(Btw not trying to derail your thread. I also stole your idea for the bed floor)
