Help hooking up manual choke

Hey everybody I got my first Holley carb, it replaced a cracked Edelbrock 650 and I can't even describe to you how much of a difference it made going to the double pumper with mechanical secondaries, what a ride!

It's a Holley 650 double pumper with manual choke, and I really want to use the factory original choke lever and cable that somehow survived an I6 and manual trans swap to a th400 and SBC. The lnob in the dash works great and cable is in good shape, but it's backwards when I put it on the Holley (I'll explain). When you pull the lever OUT to choke it, what that does is the opposite on the carb. I hope that makes sense and somebody can help.

Thanks guys
Matt
