what to do with drive shaft resto

Ok I am at the point of cleaning up my drive shaft and was wondering what you guys are doing to get them ready for your restos.

My thoughts are to pressure wash and then degrease, let dry for a week then por15 two coats and then top coat of something. the hanger bearing and yokes are all in good condition. This is a two piece drive line out of my 71 gmc longhorn so it has a heavy duty carrier bearing.

I dont think sandblasting is a good option for me unless it replace all the bearing and yokes. and then would have to get it rebalanced. and that all adds up to more money...
