I have been taking K10 out on more trails so figured I would at least build a skid plate for the big ass K5 tank that is hanging down all vulnerable. This is not going to be a rock crawling rig but I do want to have some fun out on the trails and not have to worry about putting a hole in the tank. I was first thinking about going crazy beefy but finally decided I would balance wight vs functionality, and expose as much of the top of the tank as possible since it's hotter than a mother here and also don't want to rip my cross members out that are holding the tank in.
