Yeah, I have a practically new engine, newly rebuilt 700r4 OD tranny and freshly rebuilt and tuned Q-Jet carb.

4.10s and no overdrive will keep you turning like 2700 rpm, no good for gas mileage. I'm putting a cam in this 350 to make the most torque in the 2k-3k rpm range for great gas mileage plus only turn 2k rpm on the highway which will give me great mileage also.
