Rockwell to NP205 ?

hello everyone, it appears that my Rockwell T-221 just took a crap. Read here for the full story.

Anyway, I was thinking it would probably be cheaper and easier to just swap in an NP205. Right now I have an SM465 married to a Rockwell T-221. I did a search for this info, and discovered that I can use my existing crossmember, and the NP205 will bolt right up (if I get the NP205 coupler sleeve, of course), but I couldn't find specifics on any driveshaft mods. I'd like to ask if anyone has done this swap and has changed their driveshafts in any way. My truck is stock ride height now but I plan on a lift sometime in the future.

Oh, and I also know that unless I get a '70 NP205, I will have to cut a hole in my high hump for the shifter.

Thanks in advance
